Note: One of the integral first steps in planning any Special Event is to contact your local municipal Zoning & Building Departments to confirm what permits (if any) will be required for your event (i.e. street closure permit, building permits for Tents, etc.)
Questions regarding permits, zoning issues, etc. should be directed to your local building office.

Important Note: Per AGCO, a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) for the distribution of alcohol is NOT required for invitation only events in a private place (i.e. private home or private board room - see above link for definition of “private place” and additional details).
