When organizers for the 2010 Canada Games 55+ began their search for a structure provider, organizers informed us that Affair Tent & Event Rentals came highly recommended.
After reaching out to us with a wide range of questions concerning possible approaches to the event, which included housing over 2,000 guests inside a single temporary space for opening/closing ceremonies, we visited the organizers in Brockville to assess the various locations they had identified and provide feedback on site suitability and make recommendations for structural solutions that would best suit their needs.
Additional meetings were held to determine overall site layout, tent sizes, rental requirements, as well as fire and building code considerations in and around the many tents and large clear span structure. Our design team provided 3D models of the event space as a visualization aid during the planning process and worked closely with the organizers to ensure that no detail was left to chance from an operational standpoint.
Organizers were wildly enthusiastic about the products and services provided to them by Affair Tent & Event Rentals. The event itself, the largest ever hosted in the Brockville/1000 Islands area was extremely successful , resulting in a hugely positive impact for local business and tourism in the area.
